Spinal Injury Cord Rehabilitation Centres and Physiotherapy Centers Directory

Disability Directory : Rehabilitation Centres and Physiotherapy Centers

Rehabilitation Centres are designed to restore some or all of the patient's physical, sensory, and mental capabilities that were lost following a spinal cord injury due to injury, illness, or disease. Rehabilitation includes assisting the patient to compensate for deficits that cannot be reversed medically.

Physiotherapy Centres provide services to individuals to develop, maintain and restore maximum movement and functional ability of the body following a spinal cord injury. This includes providing services where movement and function are threatened by ageing, injury, disease or environmental factors. Functional movement is central to what it means to be healthy.
