Chilled!

As a sufferer of intense muscle spasms, I was given very high doses of oral Baclofen, Dantrium and Diazapan, which left me so drugged up I couldn't get out of bed. The problem was, whilst on all these drugs, I still suffered from the muscle spasms. Eventually, I was fitted with a Cordis manual baclofen pump, and later a Medtronic Synchromed baclofen pump, which has transformed my life. In between these pumps and when the baclofen runs out, the only way I can get some sleep, and keep my legs still, is to take some "alternative" medication. As well as easing my spasms, the root pain in my arms is also eased which I could not reduce using painkillers. The UK is currently undertaking trials of cannabis for medical purposes, the results of which will be eagerly waited for by many.
