Use this forum for The Northern Regional Spinal Cord Injuries Centre opened at The James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough in 2002, renamed The Golden Jubilee Spinal Injuries Unit. The South Cleveland Hospital and Middlesbrough General hospital were used as temporary spinal centres whilst the new spinal unit was being built. Therefore, the Middlesbrough forum may be used for any spinal requests, just remember to say which unit you were in and when!. Add your details >>>

Sheffield Spinal Cord Injury Centre

Forum for the Princess Royal Spinal Injuries Centre, Northern General Hospital, Osborne Building, Herries Road, Sheffield S5 7AU.

The Consultant Medical staff for the Spinal Injuries Centre currently comprises Mr Pradeep Thumbikat and Dr K Mathew (Consultants in Spinal Injuries), Mr P R Tophill and Ms S Reid (Consultant Urologists) and Dr Jane Royle (Consultant Clinical Psychologist). In addition there is a specialty doctor and regular Spinal Orthopaedic input.
