I have feeling in them like hot and cold but they just feel asleep..I helped my friend mover her furniture around and it was way to heavy but I managed to do it.That night we were going to sleepo and I mentioned my feet felt cold..she said they felt fine..but now it's been 20 days and I went to the ER and the took xrays but saw nothing but they had me get an MRI.I just had an MRII yesterday but I wont know until Monday I meet with a Neurologist...I'm in pain now right on the middle of my butt...it feels like its electrical...sooo weird...Can someone please help me!!! I'm taking flexerall and ibuprofen..they think I pulled a muscle or its a herniated disc.....either way I cant feel my legs and walking now is starting to be a hassle way more then normal....day 20
I'm a healthy 34 year old male...this came out of nowhere..
norma
Keep on this and make sure MRI is of your whole back and neck. Disc could be compressing your spial cord hence the numb toes?? My advice is to be aggressive with this til you get an answer.
Keep us updated, Norma

Sounds like nerve pain to me. It's definitely tough to deal with it all the time. Ask your doctor about taking medication for nerve pain, extra strength pain medication will not help at all. I had to deal with this myself to try and figure out what it was.

But like Norma said, stay on top of them. This is your life and they have the answers to it. Good luck to you and keep us updated.

That's the one I take. Ask your Doctor about it.

Am I crazy or after a few hours of using it my lower back began to hurt like hell and I get dirahhea from it??

So he found nothing but a little odd possible minor slip in my L5 but other then that he said there is nothing odd..I asked him about the lumbar area and he said the MRI didnt go that low? I don't get it...if its my butt area that hurts why didnt they mri that area? They only did my back? We did more blood tests too..
fatdave
The L5 is the lumbar area, have them check for Cauda Equina Syndrome.

Why do you think they didn't mri my lumbar when that is where the pain area is?

?? L5 is as low as you can get in the lumbar area. Look at the picture of the spine on the home page and research sciatic pain. You may find answers to your questions are freely available with just the minimum of effort.

He said there is some oddity there in the L5 area....THx I get it now...so there could be something...I will read more like you said..I will read more like you said..The pain and uncomfortable feeling is coming from my coxtix(sp) area..I broke it twice and it hurt so bad...omg...but that was two years ago..I think when I moved the furniture I ruputured something somehow...I dont know the electrical and uncomfortable feeling comes from that part of my body...the back of my butt right in the center. Hurts .

I wish it was that simple...I don't really have pain in the back of my legs...The Dr's all look at me like I'm crazy...It's mainly BOTH FEET that are numb...My kower back hurts a bit but thats because I moved the heavy furniture so thats normal..its just been like 25 days now and they are still numb..My dr says to execersize but its not very easy they get tired and feel wierd after like 15 mins of just walking in the mall. I have this Neurontin but it made me dizzy and feel really funny...maybe I should take it....But if it eill go away naturally I prefer to not take it...Does anyone think it will? Does anyone know how both feet can be asleep all the way up to my thighs higher on the left leg a bit...I don't know what to do..I drive ffor work so I'm afraid to go back to work too... Thank you Jack
