I served in 1985 in the Marine Corps 6 years active, Got out and wanted to be in the reserves, The closest unit was a National Guard unit, I joined and served 6 years then transfered to the USNR to try to become an LDO, didnt get selected so I lateraled back to the Guard and stayed until I was injured in 2001,

Oh crikey, military folks on the SCI forum!
RAF here. Been wearing fetching blue outfits since I was abour 14 and first saw Top Gun, and got obsessed with it. Ended up getting everything I could possibly dream of and deployed to the middle east end of last year. Absolutely mad. Now the aggro goes "oh, you're a
vet? My dog's ill..."

6 years of Territorial. Hardly counts against the experience here. But hello anyway!

AF 1 year active, 5 years reserves. Tried to go back active and go overseas, but something about having a va$#@a and kids makes it impossible. Since i couldn't go active after trying for a few years, i just quit. I hate myself for that, and if i could i'd give myself a huge kick in the ass!! When i was pregnant the first time they called me up for germany, the next time i was called up for japan. 4T profile sucks BIG TIME!! I feel like i did absolutely NOTHING, and that's not why i joined. I wanted to say i helped.
