Hi

I am new here. I am in an otto bock blizzard wheelchair and whilst it's fairly light and compact i still find self propelling difficult (carpal tunnel syndrome)

Have you seen this www.nordigo.co.uk it's a new bit of kit that can be fitted to most active user chairs and gets up to 9 mph. I have tried it and will be purchasing soon.

I've seen them used before at the abilities expo in LA, but have never tried them myself...There was a power version that looked very interesting.

Yes I have seen power kits but they make the chair real heavy and need charging and lifting in and out of my car! The Nordigo system is under 4KG and wheels remain quick release. Think I am going to order!
