Last week I was told that I have to leave the halfway house that I am staying in.And my care hours would be reduced.I have 8 weeks to get the f@#k out,and with nowhere to go.And I can't go to the social services,because they are behind the decision.

The reason for this is because I have been seeing a local girl,and to be fair,I don't spend much time there.They say that I am not using the place properly.But,aren't I allowed a social life?She cares for me,and if it finished between us,what then?And,I think that they are assuming that I can move in there.

I think that because I am paralysed I can't have a social life,or would rather have me sit in my own shit and wait for them to come and clean me up,but NO!I DO need this place,a roof over my head.Personally,I think that it's bullshit.They should be encouraging us to have a life.They know that I have nowhere to go(probably on a shared hospital wing,I'll bet)and they are kicking me out BEFORE my tenancy finishes.I do appreciate that other people could have my bed,but there is an empty bed here right now,and has been for months.(In fact,the house has only been full for 2 months in the past 9 months.Sometimes the face just doesn't fit,eh?Or,I'm paralysed,but not paralysed enough.

The social services should not be behind the decision if it will leave you homeless.
I had a hell of a battle to prove vulnerability so as the council would house me at all (I am AB but was homeless a while ago) The social services were useless despite my history with them and knowledge of them. I called 08453454345a free legal advice line that covers england ireland scotland and wales. I explained everything to the guy there and he put me in touch with a solicitor (the same night) within a week i was housed temporerily. It then took three months to get the decent accommodation I am now being offered.
I'd recommend giving them a call if the social services are playing up. as for the relationship - weather she could put you up or not. Deny all knowledge.....shes just a good friend....right? - as long as you two are happy nobody else need be any the wiser.
You can worry about an adaptive property to suit you both further down the line for now just try and get yourself accommodated-if you act quickly they may even stop them from kicking you out.
