Any C5 Quads / Tetras using a 3 wheel handcycle? Which one do you use? I need one with a low crank, as i find it difficult to go over the top.
Would these be any good? Quickie Shark S Handcycle , Top End Force G Handcycle ( with sides ), Quad Pro Handcycle ( crank maybe to high ) ,

As a quad i would go for either the quickie shark or top end force. The force G is probably not going to work.
If you contact www.bike-on.com they have adapted the shark and force for quad use. They have a selection of grips and controls adaptions too.
I am the UK Rep and have improrted quad adpated sharks and force for clients here. I am sure i can put you in touch with them for a no bull insight on what works and what doesnt.
Good luck

hi - I'm C5 quad and use a Varna 2. Hardest bit is the transfer into the handbike. Because of the way the varna lifts the cranks up and lifts the seat it is probably easier than most hand bikes to transefer on to.

The way i see it the most important thing with any handbike is being comfortable and effective in turing the cranks. IF it takes you half anhour to transfer, so what?
The shark and force are alot lower but i know of many quads who ride them.

how do you get on braking changing / gear with he C5 quad cuffs - all the pictures of the shark i have seen hace the breaks and gears mounted on the crank handles - whats happens when you replace them with the bike-on grips?

It's a Transportable from Waverley Glen
http://www.waverleyglen.com/HomeCare/Produ...f8-4d2a49c942f6Got it off ebay £75 with ceiling track.
Then bought some racking from here
http://www.ukshelving.co.uk/product.php/7/30/Then cut the track to fit across the 2 orange beams.
Not very portable, but is fine for my needs.
