Hello pizzapie or Others

I too have pain similar to what you describe.

I have been a Complete C-6/7 quadriplegic since 1992, I have no direct feeling below my chest, I have though about getting my gall bladder taken out but but have to proof thats the source.

Did you try "Lyrica and Topamax" like "ohiohope" suggested? did it help you?

Below is a better detailed description of my Pain:

Basic description of my pain: Severe Abdominal Pain 3-5 days a week,; general mild pain and discomfort most of the rest of the time.

Pain seems concentrated in lower belly, I feel pressure & bloating, eating seems to make pain worse, can’t seem to relate it to any particular type of foods, Don’t have lots of Gas releases (I rarely fart), pain will remain constant for 12 to 36 hours with little breaks, I do not seem to have any obvious swelling or harden areas in my tummy area, this has been going on for several years, getting worse over time not getting better.

I do eat lots of dairy products, but when I stop or cut back for short periods of time it does not seem to matter, I do not eat much red meat, mostly chicken. Greasy foods seem worse than others but pain exists without greasy foods, I do not eat much greasy foods in general. Seems better after good bowel movements, but pain is not directly ties to before and after a bowel movement. I might have 2-3 days with little pain then 1-2 days of severe pain. This cycle repeats. If I starve myself (eat very little) pain seems better. I do not drink much alcohol.

I have lost weight due to lack of eating past few years

Tests have shown I have one (1) small calcified gall bladder stone; I recently had a colonoscopy that checked out OK.

My personal thoughts or Ideas;

1) Lactose Intolerance
2) Gluten intolerance
3) Gall Bladder issues
4) Chronic pancreatitis
5) stomach ulcer
6) Anything else…..

I do not know what to do next

Does anyone have any thoughts?

thank you!
