Hey everyone, I'm Arna 18 years old from Iceland. I'm a t-7 complete.

I want to look good for bikini season so I'm thinking about this slendertone thing...
Slendertone is an electronic muscle stimulation system, I'm thinking of putting it on my stomach for some tone.
Has everyone tried that or something similar ? Do you think it's a good idea ?

Hi Arna,

I use FeMS ( Functional electrical muscle Stimulation) on my legs, really to keep the muscle sacs from dissapearing completely. So same sort of thing really, I've never actually used it on my stomach, but I guess it should work! Only thing I would say.. for me, I would make sure I'd been to the bathroom first, playing with stomach muscles tends to make me leak.. but it should work if your muscle sacs still have a small amount of muscle left in them, cos once you get down to 0, its impossible to get them back.

Hi i have an ems machine they do work well i have used it on my stomach and it does cause toilet issues not just bladder but bowel too i have used it prior to my sci also and it did the same kind of things to my bowel but obviously i could control it when i was post sci,the ems machine i have is a little different to the sledertone as it is alot more powerful so the slendertone may be a better option than the type i have, give it a go it wont harm you just keep an eye on the power level you dont want to over work the muscle by putting too much current into the muscle it will cause cramps and possible spasm,i also use mine to help with sore or injured shoulders to aid recovery.

Hope it works ok for you.
