I don't want to invade this forum if I don't belong but I have Progressive Multiple Sclerosis and within the last 2 weeks, I woke up completely paralyzed from my waist down. I have good hip control but cannot feel or move my legs. I am able to bend my toes down but not up. The doctors and therapists tell me that it is more likely permanent then temporary. As far as where my spinal injury is exactly, I don't know. I know from what I have seen on this site and the function level of where I am at, that I think my injury level is between T-10 and L-1. The therapist told me that a spinal cord injury is a spinal cord injury whether it is caused by an accident or a disease. So, I thought I better ask you guys if I am in the right place or not. Everything is so new and different for me. Thanks!

Yup if you're living with paralysis than you qualify. There are a number of reasons for spinal cord or nerve damage to make someone paralyzed.......not everyone had an accident of some sort. Sorry that you're in this boat......but it's a warm one......welcome aboard. hug.gif
