I am a badminton enthusiast, playing wheelchair badminton at Stoke Mandiville, Aylesbury. All are welcome to join our group and enjoy the game of Badminton.

We do not have a fixed schedule as of now, we communicate to members via E-mail and arrange for game when at least 2 people are available. We play using our regular wheelchair (no sports chair), all you need is a racket. Once enough people are involved we will be able to take it further by establishing a Badminton Club, and take advantage Disabled Badminton coach and participate in competitions.

I'd be interested in giving that a go - I work just round the corner from Stoke Mandeville so a game after work would be great - never tried it before but happy to give it a go and see what it's like.

I would like to give badminton a go it sounds like a great idea. I'll need to get a racket, but I have got the wheelchair, let me know when your playing.

Thanks, Denny and John, I enjoyed our session at Stoke Mendeville. I have found muscles that I did not know I had and they sure are going to ache tomorrow.
