Hi this is my first time using this discussion forum, so hope I get it right!

I'd like to hear from anybody who has an SCI following Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS) or Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis (ADEM). My husband had both last October and the virus left a scar at T10 which left him in a wheelchair.

Doctors are unwilling to commit to the long term position, but are advising us not to be too positive about his legs returning. This is just so hard to accept so I'd really like to hear from anybody out there who has been down this road or knows of anybody else and would love to hear your story.

Thanks

(Admin note: I added the conditions full title to the acronym.)
