Hi

I bought myself a crysler grand voyager and had it adapted to the max...with zero effort steerin electric push n pull accelorator & break, button push 4 all lights etc, lowered floors auto wheelchair clamp in drivers & passengers seats (drive or be passenger from wheelchair) remote control electric ramp and few other minor things. as u can imagin a new grand voyager + adaptions cost a small fortune and unfortunatly for myself my condition has now ment i can not drive and this happened just after i had the adaptions done. I have put all of 1000 miles on it and now its been stood on my driveway for aprox 9month doing nothing but looking pretty in the hope il use it again. however im not, iv put it up 4sale but had not much joy, most places dont understand the adaptions etc...so i just want to sell it for whatever i can now n maybe give someone a bargin....bought in total for 60k, 34k for the car 26k for the adaptions (all done at alfred bekker adaptions ltd.) n im pretty much willing to except anything so if anyone is interested please give me a mesage......im lookin for offers at & above 10k .

Thanks guys
Mike

Hi Mic,
Could you please send photos of vehicle including hand controls etc ? Was it set up for you to drive from manual or power chair? What kind of chair clamp is used? Is it the 'space drive' system of steering/accelerate brake? what level injury c5/6? Can you email me with these details. many thanks. domjcoleman@hotmail.com

Hi Mike,
that must be heart breaking after all that effort. Good luck selling it.

Hy guys

Cheers 4 yr replys il post lots a pics this afternoon once my bro comes down with camera, (gettin the lazy bugger outa bed aint easy! teenagers ;O) )

the clamp is set up to drive from my manual chair, if anyone bought the car i think the clamp will need changing to suit your chair (this is easy done, but does need to be done by a adaption company & if anyone seriously wants the car il find out how much & how long it would be to add new clamp) also the electronic push/pull break/accellerator is not permanantly fixed, they dont fix it to the car until you have worked out the most suitable position for you, it is temp fixed so its drivable but as i stopped using it i never went back to get it made permenent. These are the only 2 things that will need doing to finish off the car for somebody else and like I say il find out how to sort them for anybody smile.gif

Im a C5 complete (with increasingly really bad spasm after 9 years with practically none??? oh well), Ive recently noticed a quad bike for a high tetraplegic that looks cool but cant find any info on it you guys ever seen it??

Hi Martin, perhaps you should change brands... Chryslers don't seem to give you much luck. head_brick_wall-1.gif
