I have been using the baclofen pump for 7 years and at 6 years they replaced the old one with a new one. Since then it has not been working correctly and the dr. claim that they do not know what the problem is. they have tried everything they say they can think of. Im clueless and worried that there is a deeper issue or that they messed up somewhere and dont wanna tell me. They have had to double my dose since they changed it. now they are talking about putting a catheter in my brain and i dont know about that..any advice?

Hey there,
I'm not sure about other problems, but last year they had to go back and operate because there was a tiny piece of fiber hanging inside of the catheter that was blocking the medicine from going through at proper rates. So this resulted in them changing the catheter. They were very hesistant to do this insisting that it might been because I was sick, or something else wrong with my body, but I knew what I was feeling was not right, and waddya know the catheter was basically blocked.
