Has anyone ever had a pressure sore sewn together as opposed to a flap? If so,why was it done and what was the outcome?

Maybe not, Wheelz. From what I understand just stitching up the wound will only cause it to abcess. It's more than just getting the edges of the skin together - the flesh below must be filled and healthy.
