Can anyone describe how inactive muscle fibers play a role in a muscle fiber bundle? Is 100% of muscle fibers used in any of the gross or fine motor movements within the bicep or quadricep? If anyone does know or has access to the information it would be greatly welcomed to be referred to or answered. Thanks.

What with them being the best people to ask!

So what was the answer?

100% pre injury (no natural genetic defects) but with age and less full range of use, the muscle is lessened/smaller percent is used. Think of the quadricep, if the hip flexors are inactive, the ability for full leg/knee extension is harder. Or without vastus lateralis, abduction is very hard. The body's muscle connections are very dependent on each other.
