I am 13 weeks into my pregnancy and my doctor has switched me to Ditropan/oxybutynin, 5 mg 2x a day because it is a safer Class B drug (rather than the Class C Detrol I was taking before). I would love to be able to breastfeed, but am uncertain of the effects of the drug on a newborn (if passed through breast milk). Has anyone taken this drug while breastfeeding? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
