We have an underwater videographer joining us to shoot footage for a potential documentary about me as a spinal cord injured scuba diver which I'm super excited about!
Best make sure you do your hair nicely then, eh.

LOL! I had a hood on, didn't have to worry about hair! Until the hood came off... yikes. Tangled long blonde mass of snarled hair. Seriously. Hoods, lake water, and long hair don't mix. AND I sunburned during our surface interval. Another yikes!

That is WONDERFUL news! Good luck...and, I'll be watching your posts for updates.
I updated my blog with some pics and the full story of our dives:
http://mimimachine.blogspot.comWe got lots of amazing footage, and since neither myself nor my dive buddy has a proper underwater camera yet, we had to use one those cheap disposable ones. I hope it turned out! it was somewhat dark down there so we'll see but we took some pics of us diving the shipwreck. my poor dive buddy had to do so much extra work--lug our gear back and forth, carry me over some very treachorous lake rocks, rescue me from zebra mussels (haha), tow me 200ft FOUR TIMES...
i am working on trying to get a local station to pick up the story about us diving and maybe do a small series on it, like on the CBC or something (sort of equivalent to the BBC). hopefully it happens!
the dives went awesome, i can't wait to dive more :-)
