He had only been behind the hand controls twice before the race and never flew it 70' through the air until Friday morning. He qualifed on pole friday with the fastest time and had to start at the back due to an inversion of the field (slowest to fastest) he went on to win the event in front of a packed house in his first ever race.
Sunday night he had to start in the 3rd row and by the end on the fidrst lap was in the lead and proceeded to leave everyone in his dust.
Back to back wins in his first weekend of racing was just unimaginable....
