anyone from vegas?

I lived in north vegas for about 4 years. Moved back to oregon, though. The heat there is unbearable.

Nope, but I am considering a move there (debating between there and California) and am there several times a year.

When is that new railway going to be built between LV and LA? When that happens, I'll be visiting Vegas more too. Although, a 1/2 hour flight doesn't take long. It's the going to the airport 2 hours early to guarantee a seat, security checkin, etc, that takes just about as long as the 4+ hour drive.

move to California once the railway's in place. The weather is way nicer and we have skiing, all your favorite water sports, and Vegas will just be a few hours away.

Oh wow, that's interesting. The drive from LA to Vegas is short though, and the flight is even shorter and super cheap. I know I'm moving, just don't know where. LA is kind of winning out at the moment because I can do all the water sports I love, the ocean is right there, skiing in Mammoth is a 4 hour drive away, and Vegas is also a 4 hour drive away! Only the cost of living in LA is really high.

I've got family just outside of Reno in Sparks Nevada.
