I'm new at this kind of thing. Several of you responded to my first post and now I don't know how to respond to your posts. Do I just do a reply to my own post to respond to you or do I do a response like a brand new topic and somehow address it to individuals using their posting name?

If you want the reply to be in the thread, like the one I'm doing here, then there is a "fast reply" and an "add reply" at the bottom. The "Add Reply" lets you do more things with the post if you'd like. That will give you a reply that looks like this one.

From what i understand if your replying to something someone has said on a thread you started you just hit "reply" and type your message in that (like i did here). However if you want to reply to someone else's thread you would need to find it then hit reply. If you want the message to be personal (so only they can see it) click the members name then click messages - send it that way.

If you want to start a new topic altogether go through the process you did to write this thread.

Take care
Nickle.

If you want to reply to a certain person in the thread, like how I'm doing here, then there is a "Reply" at the bottom of each individual comment, right next to "Quote." If you click reply there then it will put the person's message on your post so they know you are addressing them.

Hope this helps! And welcome to the forum! bye1.gif
