I am looking for some advise.
I get aching arms a lot from using my chair or walking with my crutches and am looking for some simple exercises to do to stop them aching.
I get the aches in my wrists and top of my arms.
I don't like going to the gym, I feel people are looking at me especially if I have shorts and my leg splints on. So some simply things I can do at home would be good.
Cheers.
Sit on the edge of your bed or on a chair and do leg extensions (leg straight out) or bring your knee upwards to your chest. High reps low sets for retraining CNS and building endurance and strength dually. When/if too easy add ankle weights to offset the weight load. Half squats near bed (use walker or something else as needed while building strength). Step ups (downs slowly for eccentric) on staircase. If its done daily after 1week you will see the strength increase.
