I went in to be induced for labor on July 27 and in the middle of it all my guy decided to turn breech so they had to do an immediate C-Section. After 8 days in the hospital, a hematoma that burst under my incision, an MRI to try to finally figure out why I am paralyzed in the first place and no new answers, I am finally home in my living room in a hospital bed and a laptop computer!!
Recovery is slow because as you all know, we need our arms to lift and move ourselves and that pulls your stomach muscles which have just been cut in two, so I am very dependent on my hubby which I don't like. Anyway, I am trying to be a good patient so that I can get well sooner. Also, I am looking forward to starting outpatient therapy at the hospital I delivered at. They had OT's and PT's come work with me every day while I was there and that is the first therapy I have had since I woke up paralyzed on March 12. Needless to say, I am very pumped about learning and seeing if I can regain anything. But first, I need to heal from the C-section and the big hole in my stomach from the hematoma blowing.
Here is a picture of my new boy (baby #6 - I now have 3 girls and 3 boys):

Congrats!
(And don't worry about that guy. His father probably told him that "theory" so that he wouldn't get upset when he saw his mother crying and screaming that she wished he'd never been born)

Actually I heard that he was just a bit of an experiment. ------ It failed.

Not meaning to go off topic but anything for giggles...
You have to remember that I was the result of a drunken night on a sailing boat. Your parents will say anything to not upset you (in my case my parents comfort me with "yes you were a drink fuelled
accident that we didn't really want to happen but just remember.... your brother was a
mistake that we realised too late" That comforted me through many years of being able to tease my brother.
