Has someone recommendations to be going to dive to Bonaire?

A friend of mine gave me some scuba diving magazines (PADI's Sport Diver and Scuba Diving) and in one of those, there was an amazing article about diving Bonaire. It looked absolutely beautiful, high visibility, etc. It's now on my list of places to dive. I lent the magazines to a friend who's going to be diving with me otherwise I'd look up what the article recommended for you. When I get them back, I'll post it.

I just was doing a practice scuba session tonight in the pool at a local dive ship where I just finished the beginner's course. I'm doing my Open Water certification in the next couples weeks and hoping to do a bunch of dives in late September and October at local beaches here in Ontario (including a Halloween dive with an underwater pumpkin carving contest!)--just bought my own 7mm wetsuit (and my own BC). I'm the first spinal cord injured diver they've ever trained and they're all really excited about it! It's awesome. I am totally in love with diving right now.

Many thanks, I am going to be alert about yours magazines, you have to keep exploring the deep of the sea, wonderful, I have my Open Water certification but was before my lesion (1,5 years ago) now, I going to go next October to Bonaire to try to do it after injured.

I came back from Bonaire dive trip, was fantastic. It took me two session to get used to my new way to move in the water and on the dive deck of Flamingo Divi Hotel, they have a great logistic to start, later when you have the control again, you can start to make the boat dives which are wonderful, many places to dive. Bonaire is well know for many reasons, one of them is the possibility to dive shore, the people have any number of options to go in their trunk, walk to the beach and start to dive. Here is one of the problem for us, the accessibility of the shore, so rocky. Definitely, is easier the boat dives....Great place....

Cool, sounds fun! I've heard that Bonaire is actually one of the most accessible islands in the Caribbean and a guy I know who has an adaptive diving organization takes his students to the Divi Flamingo so I've heard good things about that resort as well. Glad you had fun!
