I've been thinking 'bout getting some myself - Laser, that is.. From what I've read about it you shouldn't worry to much.

Seriously? What would the treatment do?

The idea would be removing scar tissue - they've done it in rodents, from what I understand, but us doing it without inducing any growth factors of any kind, we wont get far.. now, if one had the right connections and could get hold of some lithium, and that connection knew how to dose that stuff, combined with laser - that might do something - the only problem is I'm not exactly sure what something that might be...

Wise youngs site carecure is a very informative site regarding cure questions.

Also, for Laser Therapies, Albert Bohbot in France does 'Laserpuncture' - a non-invasive acupunture with infra-red lasers.
hopefull
what type of laser did he offer ,there is many diferent types ,there is lasser accupunture which i believe is less effective than regular accupunture, there is laser for scar removal which is used before implantinhg stem cells in some countries, and there is cold laser treatments that come from russia which encourages the body natural healing by giving energy to effected area so it can heal its self and it can also help with pain, this can do no damage,so ask lots of questions what kind of laser are they offering and how do they thnk it can help.

I wanted to add a link so you could read about it yourself, but while his main site (http://www.laserponcture.net/) seems to be running okay, the English version isn't currently.

His are infra-red lasers, and, long story short, he pops them on your torso and the infra-red lasers stimulate various key points and pathways which all help regenerate message conductivity. Obviously this has to be combined with physical exercise to get things working.

Laurance Johnston (an independent and impartial american doctor who has collated information on all SCI therapies) writes about Laserpuncture and gives a good explanation.

One of the good things about it is that it is non-invasive and carries no risk or ill side-effects.

Hope that helps.
