Hi - don't know whether you've seen this . It seems a bit expensive to me, but it is a starting point.
Best wishes

Nuprodx has a shower/comode chair that is great! I travel with it everywhere I go and it comes with a travel case. Best investment I have made. www.nuprodx.com . I would think you could find suitcase to accomodate the chair you have, and if you tell the airlines it is medical equipment they do not charge a baggage fee.

We also have a nuprodux and LOVE it, it's smaller than some of my purses!

However, you might try a christmas tree bag for your shower chair....

Take a look also at the Go-Anywhere Commode 'n Shower Chairs at www.GoesAnywhere.com. I invented them because I am a c5-6 quad and needed a portable shower chair. These chairs are lighter and A LOT less expensive than those of the competition and they can be assembled without the use of ANY tools in half the time.
You can always get a hold of me personally if you have any questions.

thanks for all your responses, i would prefer a shower chair/commode that fits into its own bag, i did order one but sent it back as the seat was just a piece of plastic (no padding) not comfy or suitable for me, i don't want to end up with a pressure sore on holiday, the chair also wasn't made to my size so didn't feel as good as my original.
i have also tried the access at last travel bag but it just doesn't have the right dimensions, i need a box shape bag as my shower chair doesn't fold. 26inch x 26inch x 26inch would be perfect though after hunting the internet i'm not sure a bag like that is out there!
i don't want the hassle of ordering a chair just to send it back if its not how i prefer. Is there anywhere in the uk you can 'try before you buy'
the hunt for a bag or new chair continues
thanks

Hey Yeates-O
Two suggestions: you should be able to view stuff (try it out) at a DLF centre
Also, the shower chair I use is great, but price has rocketed. Am trying to source it cheaper but think it is an OEM product. However it fits into one of those hard wheely case and has plenty of space for packing clothes around it. Girlfriend and I just took my one to France. Worked a treat. This link is the cheapest can find it for
