Having decided to spend a good hour curled up with a hot water bottle / thick blanket / hot chocolate refusing to believe that summer may well be heading into the decline (the leafs have started to turn alas) I thought I ought be all sensible and start sorting out the wardrobe (pessimist!!)

Unfortunately since last Winter I have put on rather a lot of "bounce" on my chest (it's so great!!) which means that many of my vests and thick shirts are destined for the recycling centre. I've struggled in the past to find "long" shirts and vests (I am quite tall any way which has not helped) and find that despite my best attempts most shirts / vests tend to ride up leaving my back protesting heavily against the chill.

Can anyone suggest places where I might be able to find longer than normal thermal vests and indeed shirts?

Not sure if it helps but I tend to wear mens tops as they are longer in the body generally.

For longer ladies tops check out the 'tall' ranges at Dorothy Perkins or Top Shop - they tend to be longer that the usual length and help your warm and snuggly x
