Hi I have had troubles with my self adhesive convene condoms. I have a bit of redness on my old fella and the convenes are coming off or starting to leak after about 8 hours. Does anyone have this problem and how did you rectify/treat it. Yep if fed up of pissing my pants

Hey man, like the other response said we have all been there, ironically enough my wife works at hospitals and they always let her take some paper tape. If I knew it was gonna be a possible breakdown day or active day, I would tape up the condom to my Man....it's not pretty and it's not failsafe bu it helped quite a bit.....is there a reason you aren't cathing? I know there maybe so don't think as being smart, just wondering.....I didn't cath forever just because and it is better...,,,good luck I hope you get it figured out...God Bless, Dustin

You're injured at T10, so I have to ask something here to get a better understanding. Is your bladder sphincter flaccid? Do you leak constantly? If not, do you have bladder spasms? Do you have lessened grip? Trying to figure out why you're using condoms.

If you're incontinent, have you talked to a urologist about this? There are a few options out there. Have a urological continence test done. That should give the urologist some idea as to the options that would be viable for you.

If there is redness, it is important to give time to your skin to recover. Contact your GP, there are some skin protector solution available (cant remember name). Before wearing Sheath condom, make sure that your guy is dry and no oil/ moisturizers are applied. Once Sheath is rolled on, hold it firm for 30sec so that the heat from you hands help it stick better. Make sure that your leg bag is not pulling the Sheath. Also check the joint between sheath and leg bag to ensure sheath is not bend and preventing free flow of urine.

I had similar issues when I started using Sheath, not any more.

You can also get prep wipes which you rub on before applying sheath which helps it stick better.

If this company (which has always been good for me) does them, others will as well, though they do send out free samples, though it may be easier just to give them a call?: 0800 132787

Best wishes

Probably a bit late but; Once redness clears,,,,,,I remember that some of the lads in the rehab used a spray on adhesive to keep it on
