Hello guys.
I got some good news regarding this rather amazing device. I recently got a brochure from their representative in NY with some information and dvd. Most of it were just testimonies but among them I found some interesting information.
So apparently " The Center for Medicare and Medical Services (CMS) has assigned the code E0770 covering the cost of the walkaid for patients with Incomplete Spinal Cord Injury. Although currently Medicare only covers the Walkaid for incomplete SCI , this code now gives us the tools to seek possible reimbursements for foot drop patients with private insurance who are diagnosed with stroke,MS,CP,TBI."
Its really interesting. They will cover it ONLY for incomplete SCI. As we all know Foot drop is not related only with SCI. Makes me think. Whats so different about Inc SCI that they decided to make an exception?
Other significant information is that you can schedule a free, in-office trial to see if the walkaid is appropriate for you.
I encourage everybody that can benefit to go and check out this interesting device. The trial is FREE.
So I can only provide information for people living in NY or NJ. Here it is.
