Has anyone been awarded Continuing Care in the UK. If so who provides your care? Do you use local agencies, or have Live in PA carers. Does it work well? Are you happy with the service.
Would you be better off using the DIRECT PAYMENT scheme employing your own carers?
If you use local agencies how does it work?

Hi there,

I don't need live in carers but I've been awarded the Individual Budget for two years and it's brilliant! It allows me to employ who I want and spend money on things like physio to ease my pain. It means I can arrange my time rather than being told exactlt what to spend my money on and when people are coming round.

I hope you get on well with it! x
