BE WARNED
While away on holiday I visited Barnstable and used the Radar toilet. For those of you that do not know you have to use a key to enter and they are for the use of disabled people. I was shocked to see a sharps bin located in the wall and that room had not been cleaned, there where cigarette buts on the floor that had been there for some time.
I washed my hands and was about to shove the used paper towels in the bin (not sharps) located lower down when I got that feeling it was not a good idea. I used the towels to open the bin slowly to see a used syringe I could not see if it had a needle attached. To get to my point I think drug users shoot up in disabled toilets and we all need to be careful not to get pricked by used needles!
I have contacted the council to make them aware, I will let you know what they have to say.
