today was completely a monday for me!
well it actually startd out good && wasnt until i got ready for skoo that i noticed i had misplaced my study guide for my college success test i had today..
&& after deep thought about wat i had done wit it, i remembered turnin it in to my math teacher.. SATURDAY!
so i decided to jus study the notes i had takin && pray it would work jus as well. when the time came for me to go to class i startd to get real hungry even though i had pretty much JUS had a bowl of cereal *bad idea!!!* i get almost to class && theres an accident on that street.. so finally gettin to the parkin lot took forever and of course i was late for my test
i start it && things were goin pretty good.. i get to the fill in the blank && essay question for ch 1 *mind you this test is over 4 chapters..* && i hav no clue where those questions came from, dont even remember learnin that stuff! && it continued lik that the rest of the test but i still tried to do my best..
i get home && i always go to the bathroom the minute i get there && while i was waitin for my sister to get my medicine, i start to push my self to the bathroom && realize that my wheels are wet.. low && behold i had had a accident right there in the middle of the kitchen floor. ok accidents happen right?? i go to the bathroom, changed, cleaned up && all that good stuff but decided to sit on the toilet a little bit jus to b on the safe side.. i promise you 20-30mins went by && nthn.. so i go to get in my chair && i break a nail *that i jus got done friday*
i was sooo done then.. so i go in the family room to hang wit everyone && they already hav one of the spots on the couch laid out wit towels for me to sit on.. thinkin about it now i appreciate the thought.. but at the moment i was kinda irritated/hurt cause i already feel bad that i pretty much ruined my moms old couch && this one is fairly new so, idk it jus was the wrong time.. anyway i didnt sit on the couch because i didnt want to mess it up && i was hot && i wasnt feelin to well.. so we're watchin one life to live.. && theres a kid on there named matthew who got in a car accident && was paralyzed from it. && all he ever talks about is how he'd rather die than b in his chair and how being in a wheelchair he has no life.. UGH IT PISSES ME OFF EVERYTIME THEY SHOW HIM!!! lol so when they showed him tonight i jus wanted to kick his ass! haha im sorry but his parents hav the means to giv and provide for him sooo much && all he does is whine about not bn able to walk.. i mean not once has he sat back to realize he is lucky as hell to even b alive period! to b throwin from a car && mak it?? ugh he jus pisses me off! lol *by the way for those of you who dont kno, one life to live is a soap opera*
anyway mayb 15mins go by && i hav another accident.. it was small but still you kno?? i got changed, come back && im talking to my mom about it && she goes you kno when you hav accidents lik this mayb you should where those.. lol i stopped her right there cause i already kne wat she was gonna say.. that i should wear those pull ups lik i use to.. OH HELLL NO!!! lol i had to wear those when i first became paralyzed *cause i didnt kno wat else i was suppose to do at the time* && i absolutely hated them! she doesnt kno this but i would cry at night && pray for a better solution.. so for things to get better && then hav to go back??.. naw im not doin it! plus they dont work! if you're sittin on them && hav a accident it seeps through to your clothes.. so why use it??
after that nice little conversation happens... it happens AGAIN!!!
so by this time it was a little more than hey its an accident, i was at "things would b so much better if i didnt hav accidents.." && this time i jus sat in the bathroom thinkin.. man i dont mind being in a wheelchair because i kno whether im in it or walkin, im still gonna live my life.. but damn it would b nice to jus use the bathroom normally..
so yea.. thats where it all stopped.. lol now im gonna go to bed && pray that today was jus an off day && that tomorrow is better

Boy, what a pisser of a day you had. Hope you passed at least. I work part time and usually like to wait until I get home before I urinate. Occasionally "the pad" ain't enough and I get "that warm fuzzy feeling". That's when I worry about staining my Bruno Turny van seat. Happened last week.......

Aww bRaT I have those days too.. I feel your pain. For me, when it rains it pours. It will happen just like that basically... And it seems to have a pattern, its like 2 hrs after the first accident, then every 45 minutes or so after until it decides to stop.

The only thing I've found that helps is putting on a pad (not diaper) to help w/ the smaller leaks, and definitely start drinking water.

If youre not out and about that day or soon as you get home try to lay down for a while, get the pressure off your bladder.

And lastly, if your anything like me.. trying to cath on one of those days only needs to more leaks,.. I know the point is to not piss yourself but try to drink the water, chill out, and be sure to give it 3 or 4 hrs after your last accident (so you build up a nice good tinkle) before trying to cath again. Last thing you want to do is irritate the bladder further.
