Just an FYI Post for walking quads and paras: I recently purchased a pair of Skechers Shape Ups for exercising on the treadmill, but finding them so beneficial, I now wear them in my "normal" ambulation. I find they are great for helping with the proper gait pattern of heel strick to rolling on the toes for push off. Just after two weeks of wear, I'm having better range of motion in my stiff R ankle, that strecthing has been unable to resolve. They are a bit pricey at $110.00 a pair, but have been told that K-Mart sells a knock off that might be worth a try.

Hi Patty,
MTB's are the original rocker sole shoes, and are no less than $200.00 a pair (they average approx. $250).

The Skecher's knock off appears to be just as effective, and a great deal for half the price of the other brand. But, don't be surprized if you're able to find them in your local Payless Shoe Store for under $30.00 soon.--lol

In their inception, the shoes were intended to help with posture.

Not alot of good they'll do me though. ho-hum.
