Hey Guys, I need some advice!

When I first ordered my chair off of sportaid, my chair was set so it could have standard quickie wheels and spinergys on, I think by doing that, the spinergys have never truely fitted properly, I had to put a spacer on to stop the wheels moving in and out, is it normal for that to happen?

Also I seem to be buckling my left wheel alot this year, and its only the left wheel? Ive been told its probably from getting off the horse but I dont agree because I would think there would be even pressure on both wheels, so there both would buckle!

And more recently again my left wheel, seems to grind off the side guard when i reverse around to the left, but the wheel spins straight so I dont think its buckled (Again!)

Arrrrrgh! head_brick_wall-1.gif

I'm not sure how but I guess it's possible you damaged an axle sleeve (or it could have been installed improperly). Is the degree of caster the same on both wheels and does the problem happen even if you swap your wheels from side to side?

Did you mean the degree of camber?! If so then yeah its the same on both sides, and it happend when either wheel is on the left side. And ive noticed the right side has started to aswell. I could have damaged the axle sleeve, as dismounting the horse from a height, will be stressing the chair. Im thinking ill take to the wheelchair services and see what is said!

axle sleeve would be my guess. Can you see if the outside of the sleeve is split or misshapen...or possibly loose, hopefully there isnt damage to the threaded part of the axle that the sleeve goes into. I've had sleeves wear out but only to the point to when you rock side to side you can feel them moving a bit. The sleeves are quite inexpensive and easy to change.
