Hi guys,

I've just been quoted £335 to cover travel insurance for my 30 day trip to New Zealand, this was with Free Spirit, this seems a bit steep to me, any recommendations from anyone else? I'm in England.

I should mention that this is a company that specialises in pre existing medical conditions, I'm C5/6, I have just used standard post office insurance in the past but I'm not 100% sure I would be 100% covered. What do you think?

Thanks in advance.

Moneysupermarket has list of insurance companies that cover pre-existing conditions. Do read small prints, you may find most of the insurances do not cover or pay limited amount for many common causes.

I'm with Karma, they are excellent, £10 per month for year round policy worldwide for me and hubby, covering my SCI

Have just used Dennys link to Moneysupermarket pre-existing condition cover and found it a great help. Thanks..

Best quote I got was with getMY travel insurance. Making a £40 saving from a standard Thomson Holidays 7 nights European holiday for 2 adults, and inc my sci. Still cost me £106, but least I'm covered. Knowing my luck . . . . . . . . . !! lol
