I'm new to the forums and I have a question about an old injury. I fell approximately 12' off of a truck and onto a metal ladder which was at a 45 degree angle. I broke t11 and t12 which were later fused/bolted together. My spinal cord is 1/2 the width in that area. This happened about 18 years ago.

Recently, I was diagnosed with SVT arrhythmia, possible cardiac sudden death (6 second pauses in the heart), and low blood pressure (bradycardia). The svt ablation failed and a permanent 2 wire pacemaker was implanted because of the low blood pressure. I've noticed red outs, palpatations, dizziness, etc for several years and had gotten worse. I'm wondering if autonomic dysreflexia - bradycadria can exist with a narrowed spinal canal at t11-t12??

I've been doing some research into sympathetic / parasympathetic nervous system and potential problems that can arrise from spinal cord damage. Is there a relationship between the lesser and greater splanchnic nerves not functioning with ea other and cardiac problems? I think there is some sort of link.. maybe the vagus nerve that runs from t1-l2?

Page 4 has some interesting information in regards to parasympathetic control of the cardiovascular system and upper gastrointestinal track (going through the vagus nerve). Any help with this is greatly appreciated.
