Rick Hansen is AWESOME. He's a Canadian paraplegic who started a foundation for spinal cord injury here in Canada. I remember seeing his bungee jump on TV here when he did it and I thought it was fantastic!

Hi Twisted_Orphelia - just had a quick look at his site, as you mentioned it (http://www.rickhansen.com/)
Yeah Russ, i know Alex from the Back up trust, he's done loads of jumps. He's one funny guy. I wouldn't mind doing a bungy jump, south africa or new zealand are the best, so if i was going to do it, it'll have to be one of them

that looks like so much fun! It also would be easier having someone just roll you off. Otherwise i might chicken out!!!

I dont get why you would want to jump with a bit of metal strapped to you. Why not sit on the edge and fall off and leave the wheelchair at the top for when you get back?
I have a zipwire at work i use and i dont go down in my chair (we did it once to see if it worked) i just go down in a harness like everyone else.

Bungeed in Whistler Canada. They strapped m into the chair so that the chair took alot of the hit when the cord snapped back up. Loved it and will do it again if I get the chance!
