Im hoping some of you wonderful people can help me out. My son has lost his Reindeer beanie toy, available only from ASDA. He is totally heartbroken as he had given it a name and whole personality. Ive tried my local branches but they dont have one, so Im hoping that if anyone is shopping in ASDA they would have a look for me.
Its by cuddle crew/mini friends. Not very big, about adult palm size, is wearing a scarf and costs only a couple of £. Id be eternally grateful if anyone finds one as hes been so upset, we are trying to replace it for him.
Of course I will send you the money and postage costs straight away.
many thanks

Nothing doing here....although it may be that it's only been offered in the Asdas in your area.
We found that with Sainsburys, specials advertised in the paper were only available in certain stores (small print)
No consolation I know.
Hope someone comes up with it.

Have you searched Amazon for "Reindeer Toy"? There is quite a selection (some with scarves), so maybe there is a close match there.

I'm with qb. Lucy's son isn't the only one restless. Hope someone finds one or that it's available on-line. My son had a blankie & the 1st blankie got left somewhere & we could NOT find another one even close.....quite a few sleepless nights with the 18mo old. Luckily he found a new blankie.......he gave it up when he was 6......& I have it amongst MY keepsakes. I had a Cookie Monster stuffy with a wind up music box in it. Funny how we tend to attach ourselves to those security things as little ones. Best of luck!

What do you mean as little ones? I still have my toy duck that comes everywhere with me!
I sunk as low as asking one of the assistants if they might have some in the back somewhere. I don't know if they just hid for half an hour but they looked ever so disappointed when they said they couldn't find anything.

I have however got everyone at work looking (including one chap who "nipped in" to an Asda that he spotted on his way to site.
Still looking.

Wow you folks are truly amazing! It's very touching to see the lengths you've all gone to to look for this toy, let alone reply.
I once lost a pearl charm my now deceased father gave me when I was a child and couldn't get anyone in the restaurant to help me search the floor for it

You're very lucky to know such sweet folks here Lucy!
kudos to you all.

Give us the address. We'll all head over there. We're bound to do a good job. Once we're on the floor, most of us would have to stay there.

Would that restaurant be anywhere in San Fransisco? I'm heading up there this weekend, and could pop in to have a look around for you. It's no problem, really.

Thanks SO much everyone. Unfortunatly I dont think the one you've found Jerry is the right one. I know Im making a fuss, but sometimes as a parent you have to say get over it, (which I do a lot!!) but sometimes you also have to try and put something right. Knowing my son as I do this is the latter.
But Ho hum Im optimistic one will turn up.
Thanks very much Wendy for your efforts. If you hear anythig pls let me know.
thanks again everyone for all your help and kind words.
