Hey,
At the moment i have an RGK with e motion wheels, but im looking to get a new chair and either replace my e motions or try something different. I need the extra power that i get from the wheels, but was wondering if anyone had any recomendations??

I have looked at the cyclone tailwind and contacted them for more info but so far have heard nothing back. Has anyone had/have one that recommends it or warn me off it.

Any help would be great!!

I tested an Iglide, which is now the tailwind, and thought it was the best of the three power assist systems. Since it was discontinued I purchased the quickie (yamaha) xtenders. I had to buy a used one on ebay as Medicare wouldn't preapprove. The xtenders are good, but I think tailwind would get me up larger hills with less effort. Batteries are outrageously overpriced & I have not had luck rebuilding one. Emotion has a new wheel with lithium ion batteries that is supposed to be better than old system. There are existing threads on power assist worth looking at, but perhaps it's time to start a new one with new products out there & peoples experience with battery life & cost.

Check out the Tailwind. It is a great power assist chair. It will make youtr e-motions seem like relics.
