When I dream i'm in my chair most of the time. I have a few friends in chairs and from what i've heard from them they are always walking in their dreams. Maybe a 3 out of every 10 dreams i'm walking.

I'm pretty happy with my life so it doesn't bother me but I was just looking to hear what others experience.

Most of the time I can walk in my dreams. Sometimes I'm in a chair to start, but I'm always walking by the end. I don't notice the transition, tho,,, just get up when I need to.

Mostly walking, sometimes running...... hell, I even take off flying every once in a while!

There has been a few times that I've been in my chair but, like Ed, I usually get out of it.

Regardless, I always wake up and say..... well, damn!

Dreams, not fantasies.

We had a thread on this a while back that you may be interested in: link

I'm in my chair in about half my dreams, which is weird 'cause I rarely use it.

I walk in all my dreams, sometimes I even think 'hang on I can't walk I must be dreaming' so take full advantage. Sometimes the chair is there, or I'll be walking up a hill and think 'I can't move here, I'd never get my chair up this hill!'.

Walking, sometime running, often having sex. Not at the same time thought.

My walk in my dreams usually seems awkward. I have bad balance, like my conscious self knows I have, but I'm still upright. I am bladder-conscious in my dreams too, which is probably the biggest reminder I'm still paralyzed. In every single dream where I'm in a public place or out in the open (anywhere away from a bathroom) I'm always worried about having to pee, but not be able to find a place. Even when I am walking normally in my dreams, I am always worried about peeing.

dreams are so wierd. Sometimes im in the chair and sometimes im not, times i can be in the chair then all of a sudden il not be in the chair. I wish i could dream my legs into working again, that would be sweet

Last night I dreamt I was a steam train.
I'm not sure if I dare trust my dreams.

After almost 33 years as a para I almost always am walking in my dreams. You'd think my subconscious would have adjusted by now.

I rarely remembered my dreams before my accident, and that hasn't changed.

One thing I hadn't thought about, though, is I used to dream right before falling into a deep sleep. I would dream of bouncing on a trampline higher and higher, out into space. Then I would get too high and my whole body would spasm awake because I was afraid I would miss the trampoline on my way down. Then I would fall asleep. I haven't had that trampoline dream since my accident. Strange.

Don't have time to walk in my dreams. To busy dreaming of having mind-blowing sexual experiences.

If only dreams reflected real life. Ho Hum smile.gif
