Doctors!, at least they're good for a laugh!
The "Quadpot" is due to the paralysed muscles in the abdomen becoming overstretched due to gravity, and once overstretched, there is little you can to to tighten them up again.
The only thing you can do, is to wear a binder for cosmetic appearances. You may be able to lose excess weight, which will reduce the stomach area, but it's really the stretched muscles that give the appearance of the Quadpot.
The Quadpot tends to be different on different people depending on residual muscle tone and spasticity. My Quadpot didn't really start to show untill about 5 years after my accident, as untill this point I had muscle spasms in my abdomen which kept the muscles toned.
As soon as my spasms were under control from my Baclofen Pump, the muscle tone was reduced, and the Quadpot started to develop.
I don't like it, but I have to live with it.
Just another little gem we're given with SCI!
Simon.
