Wow...I can actually see that happening. In a way I think it's cute angel_not.gif If it were my little brother, I probably would and when he gets older explain to him what it really means and what not. For now, I would say yes, but hell, that's cute little thing thrying to do this cath laugh.gif

I have a 22 month old and he watches me cath, I think that he will cath b4 he pees haha and since his brothers wont let him watch I hope that he dosent get to confused.

But he has never picked one up and tried in on himself yet.

I think I would try and minimize his exposure to it...for his own safety. And depending on where he is developmentally, he may be able to understand some simple explanations about it. Remind him that he doesn't need to use it, but you do...just so he gets a sense that it's a source of extra help for you.

If he's not potty-trained yet, it might be a good indication that he's ready to learn. smile.gif

My little sister tried this too when she was 22 months old. We just told her it was something that only people in wheelchairs do and than my mother potty trained her the next day. She's 8 now and still has seen me cath if she's with me and I have to take her to the bathroom with me. She never tried to cath herself again.
