Amazingly Im pregnant again...Wonderful isnt it, but boy are we surpried!!

I only had the last one in May and for both my sons Ive had to have 'assistance' so we never dreamed it would happen spontaneosly. So you can guess we are totally amazed.
Now Ive pretty got the day to day activities down well. but on a serious note am I going to be able to manage the 2 of them on my own? Am I actually going to be able to get out the house for instance with a baby and a toddler of 18months? Does anyone have any experience of having 2 little ones?

The only consolation is that the eldest starts school in September so thats one not to worry about!
Any ideas gratefully recieved.
cheers

CONGRATULATIONS!!
I have two lil ones..well they are a bit bigger now, but they are 18.5 months apart and when my paralysis occurred my youngest ( just 4 years) was a baby. Yes it can be done. People forever telling me how fabulously well behaved my kiddies are..how near to my chair they stayed when little etc...
I used to use my lil ones reins to reign her to me when she was a bit bigger and I have known people use an extendable dog lead on bigger ones, though I din;t need it. The DPN ( disabled parents network) as you know is a wealth of information.
So is this the second baby post injury? your eldest was pre wasn't he? You will be fine,..tired but fine..
I have had several miscarriages and a tubal before my first baby and we needed assistance, then my second was actually a Ooops! although we did want another. Due to my thyroid ( autoimmune thyroiditis after my first) and my history of preterm labour (now know it is due to my multiple forms of EDS as I have a few), and the worsening dislocations and loss of sensation ( my story is complex) I had a stressful pregnancy but thankfully all was well..
Having to go to and fro to school will of course bring its own issues, but I see what you mean about at least having him there. The lil ones will get into a routine and kids adapt better than we do..It will be interesting! One thing to do is to not listen to the fear mongers or you will feel like screaming. My advise is to take things as they come..anyway, I will write more later, but have to go for a wee while (got another mess up to sort out! lol and then have to pick my lil one up from nursery)..So til then, CONGRATULATIONS>.
How far along are you, btw?
Take care,
K
