Hi all i'm a T6 incomplete looking to set up a quad bike. Already ride a Polaris but looking a setting up a raptor, got all the info on Kliktronic and rekluse clutch but i need to find out what everyone does to keep there ass strapped in ? The seat Ricky James has looks great but not to sure of exactly what it is or how it's set up. Any help would be sweet.
Hey Lissalloy
How you doing? i am also a complete t6 t7 and ride a quad. I would suggest you strap your legs down to your nerfs instead...You really dont need a seat arrangement like a tweelie for your quad, you wanna be able to shift your butt around on the seat using your arms to get the quad sliding around corners...your arms are gonna work harder (arm pump is a bitch) but the shifting of your weight is gonna help with the handling of the bike. You can use a simple elastic band to hold your boots onto the nerfs or build a slide in cage onto your nerfs...hope this helps.Need anymore advice give me a shout...
cheers
Tucker

Yeah what he said ^^^^ Im also T6 and ride a Raptor 700, its much better not being strapped on the quads (other than feet) because u want to shift your weight in the corners. Makes it hard to jump but i usually keep an ockey strap in my camel pack that i only clip on when i want to jump but generally the quad is not much good for jumping, if you want to jump big go 2 wheels!
If you still want the seat modified theres a post here of my setup on the YZ
http://www.apparelyzed.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=5896Thanks for the help guys, i've checked out your pics of the YZ setup keen as to get back on a bike but the misus does'nt think it's a good idea. Got a polaris 200 at the moment but looking at a Raptor 700 or a Can am Renegade but i'll to to do some mods.

I've seen your pics before got them downloaded as an example in case i go for the raptor, your looks sweet that would be pretty much the same type of setup i would go for.
