hope you have some airbags or hydraulics going there so that you can raise it when you drive. I prefer the big 1 ton ford in the background, but nice truck.

I had an Avalanche i was going to do that to. I was having trouble finding air bags that would drop it like that. It had 24's on it an it was in need of some new tires. so i sold it. I still would have loved to have it but it was going to be a money pit.

Thats some 23's?

you have the ridepro? firestone bags?

What was done to my truck was a one off piece of work. The rear end was narrowed, the frame notched in the rear for axle travel, the frame was also modified to go lower, gas tank raised, rear floor of the truck raised for tank clearance, custom made upper and lower control arms up front, custom made inner fenders on all four corners, custom battery mount, 3 compressors 2 for full time service and 1 backup, all solid copper lines 1/2 inch for the air with firestone bags and 3/4 inch electric valves.

Heres some fab pics...

Hey bdmpastx!

This is the next step I suppose! Getting a car or truck!
Your truck does look very accessible and so cool!
I wish I had money for that!

Can you please add some more pics perhaps of the inside of your truck?

Cheers

Nice truck, How does it ride? Did you use air pods together from a Semi-truck? What kind of compresser? How far up will it go for clearance? What a project. Did you design it yourself? It's great enjoy...

This is my second one that I have owned, I had a Toyota Tacoma from 2000-2004 before I was injured. They both ride actually better than they did stock. The air ride is a smooth ride. The air bags are purpose built. The semi's bags are a bit too big. Lol. Those are ment for some heavy loads. These bags can lift 2500lbs each. It is a sub culture thing here in the US. There are a lot of Mini Truckers and Trucks for show.

Ride Pro is some system that Firestone has. They are Firestone bags. You can build your own or buy some kit if you want. Just get you a Truckin Magazine and flip through it.

They had to do the custom fab cause of several factors. The truck is designed with struts, the spindle is too damn big stock (made to crossover to 4x4) and several other issues. It is just what you have to do if you want to go that low with a Nissan. Chevy trucks can go almost that low with a lot less modification.
