After playing wheelchair tennis for a couple of months, I decided to participate in a local USTA wheelchair tournament. I wound up losing my very first match but came back to win the Consolation finals.

More than anything, it was such a good experience to be out there with a lot of other SCI 'survivors' who decided to stay active. The number 9 ranked player in the world was out there (what a cool guy) and he was very inspirational to all of us.

All in all..great weekend.
