Hi there

I'm a quad, C5 from 2004, 34 years old boy from Bulgaria.

I'm software developer and working from home for a company located in Sofia (280km from me). I think I can find some work in any UE country and I plan to move from here, because summers are like hell for me. Here is too hot for me and I need to go somewhere to North. I have to be honest with you and tell you that I also need more money. Life as a quad is expensive everywhere.

Where is the best accessibility in UE?
What country has the most friendly assurance system for people with disabilities? I know that Spain has a good system. Germany and Austria are not so good for people as me. I know nothing about the countries from north.

What country from UE is similar with Canada as assurance system?

You really need to speak to Milosh who moved to the UK from Serbia.

I think and I may be wrong you get NHS treatment after 6 months residency here. Obviously you need a job and all that goes with it, but basically it means that after 6 months you would get all your treatment free of charge. You can register with a GP straight away as long as you intend to stay more than 6 months.

But like I said I might be totally wrong.

you could ask hrvoje too. hrvoje is from croatia (he`s member of this forum) and one of his close friends works for company in germany (he stays half a year in germany, half in croatia). i am sure this kind of partial work is good for some benefits (insurance, pension, etc) as well as for salary .
good luck!

dole,
Make your CV available for european companies. Try http://www.monster.com/ and see what is your value on that market.
As far as I know, for medical urgenties your bulgarian assurance cover all the costs.
In my opinion, if you work legal(pay taxes) you can work anywhere in UE without problems.
I've read somewhere that in US at Microsoft every resident make another 4 jobs. Give yourself a chance. smile.gif
