I am interested in taking up a wheelchair sport. Not sure what yet. I quite like the idea of Table Tennis but am willing to give most things a try. I have never really been in to disabled sports because it was sport that landed me being disabled but I have grown up a bit and got over that now and would really like to get out and try something in my local area.

So if anyone knows of anything or any clubs please could they let me know.

Many thanks.

An old thread but I live in Dorset...hadn't even heard of sportability.

I randomly got approached when shopping by a lady about watersports. Apparently they have set up a disabled watersports group near ringwood...at the lakes you speak of above. I was off to uni at the time so never took it up...

If Torquay is not too far for you, there is a Badminton club for disabled. If interested I can forward you the details.
