Ever since I got hurt, I've basically taken to skipping breakfast entirely. If I eat anything at all, it is a couple pieces of this, which I am strangely addicted to:
https://www.shopcabot.com/pages/products/ag...ers-Cheddar.php Not eating breakfast might be part of the reason why I weigh 15lbs less now that I did pre-injury.

actually you tend to lose a lot more weight and be more healthy if you do eat breakfast, as it gets your body and metabolism going after the rest it's had during the night and you can't burn off calories if your metabolism hasn't got going yet. So if you miss breakfast you're not going to start burning off calories until you eat lunch which is a whole morning lost, something which is not good when we already have trouble burning them off due to a slower metabolism and difficulty being as active as AB's.

i only have that once a week , normally on a tuesday but i had it today this week, i'm normally good i have bowl of muesli but only like lidl's museli (aldi's is ok but not as good as lidl's) but i dont like alpen or supermarket museli it tastes like sawdust.
the trick is to have a little of what you fancy! but to steam, poach and grill rather than to fry or roast,

For a quick quick snack I get a soft whole wheat tortillia, spread almond butter or sunflower seed butter (im allergic to peanuts) thinly sliced apples, bananas or strawberries roll and eat. Good on the go and doesn't have to be in the fridge.

For a quick and healthy snack hubby & I do bowls of edamame (soy beans, like you get in bowls at Sushi restaurants). You just pour the frozen soy beans in a big bowl and microwave for about 2 minutes. Then sprinkle a tiny bit of salt on top and you've got yourself one healthy (and yummy) snack. You can find edamame in the frozen section of the grocery store along with the frozen peas and corn.
I also love these Morning Star brand veggie cakes - the southwest style. I microwave them for about 33 seconds on each side then make a sandwich out of them with a sourdough roll. Sooo, good, healthy and really quick to make. You can find those also in the frozen section of the grocery store - look for all the green morning star vegetarian packages.
